I've been exploring different desserts and pastries in search of new flavor inspirations. I came across a raspberry white chocolate tart recipe which I fell in love with & will be posting next. I saw a banana on my kitchen table & figured I'd sub it out for the raspberries in the recipe. Let me tell you, this flavor was an absolute hit. Its become my new favorite tart! I couldn’t believe how well bananas and white chocolate go together. It was so delicious! I like to get right to the point, so lets get to the ingredients & instructions so you can enjoy this delicious tart filling!
This filling goes great with any tart shell. Pre-made or made from scratch.
Filling:
1 whole Banana (1/2 for garnish)
5oz White chocolate
4oz heavy cream
1 tbsp. granulated sugar
Instructions:
Heat cream & bananas in a saucepan (do not boil or mixture will curdle)
Mash bananas while they are inside the saucepan
Melt white chocolate & add to banana cream mixture
I added extra banana to my mix which gave it softer runny consistency. To thicken add extra white chocolate.
