We've all heard of fried Oreos & fried everything at carnivals, but have you ever heard of a fried chocolate covered strawberry? The idea might scare some people but let me tell you...you gonna have more than one.

Its easy, just think of chocolate covered strawberries dipped in (something like) pancake batter & deep fried in oil. You can add your own flavor twist to it like dust is in cinnamon sugar or infuse the batter with an extract. Sky's the limit.

Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
3 ½ teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt, or more to taste
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 ¼ cups milk
1 egg
Vanilla extract or flavor of choice
Vegetable Oil or Oil of choice for frying
Powdered sugar
Strawberries
Chocolate for dipping
Instructions:
1.) In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Whisk dry ingredients together & set aside.
2.) In separate bowl, combine egg, milk, oil & flavoring. Whisk together and slowly add in dry ingredients. Whisk until ingredients are completely combined (you should see no clumps)
3.) Preheat your vegetable oil. I preheated mine over my Cusimax 800W Marble Ceramic Cooktop Dual Infrared Burner. I love how it's electric & requires no gas or flames & heats up so quickly! This burner is great for content creators who film content outside of their kitchens.

4.) Attach strawberries to a fork or thick skewer & dip strawberries into chocolate. Once chocolate has dried, you can dip your strawberries into the pancake batter. Make sure your strawberry is completely covered in batter before frying.
5.) Dip your battered strawberry into hot oil. Hold for about 10-15 seconds or until batter becomes golden brown. These can burn quickly if left in the oil for too long.
6.) Remove from oil & dust with powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar mix.
7.) Allow to cool & serve.

Tips:
- After washing strawberries, make sure they are fully dry before dipping.
- High quality chocolate & flour will make it taste so much better.
- To make a healthier version, use anti-inflammatory oils like avocado, olive or coconut oil.
- Use this recipe for dipping cookies, fruits, veggies etc.
